This Airport Pickup and Waiting Time Policy explains how Hujjaj Travels manages airport pickups, airport drop-offs, flight tracking, driver coordination, waiting time and customer communication.
Airport Pickup Service
Hujjaj Travels provides private airport pickup and drop-off services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, families, groups and travel agents. Airport transfer services may include Jeddah Airport to Makkah taxi, Jeddah Airport to Madinah taxi, Madinah Airport pickup, Makkah to Jeddah Airport taxi and other confirmed airport routes.
Flight Number Requirement
For airport pickups and drop-offs, Hujjaj Travels requires the customer’s flight number. Our booking team uses flight details to check arrival time, departure time and possible flight delays.
Correct flight details help us prepare the booking confirmation voucher, assign the booking confirmation number and coordinate the driver more accurately.
Booking Confirmation Voucher
Once a booking is confirmed, Hujjaj Travels may generate a booking confirmation voucher and assign a booking confirmation number. This voucher may include important trip details such as route, pickup time, passenger count, vehicle type and flight details.
Customers should check the booking confirmation carefully and inform Hujjaj Travels immediately if any detail is incorrect.
Driver Details Before Pickup
Hujjaj Travels usually shares driver details around 24 hours before the pickup date. This helps guests, pilgrims and customers coordinate directly with the driver through WhatsApp after landing or before pickup.
Airport Meeting and Driver Coordination
After the customer’s flight lands, the customer should send a WhatsApp message to the driver whose details have already been shared. The driver will then coordinate with the customer and explain where the vehicle is located at the airport.
For Umrah visa holders, there is usually dedicated parking at the airport. However, to avoid confusion or unnecessary hassle, Hujjaj Travels shares driver details in advance so the customer can coordinate easily.
Airport Waiting Time
For airport pickups, the driver waits for around 3 hours from the given pickup time or flight arrival time. This allows time for immigration, baggage collection, airport movement and customer coordination.
If the customer cannot be contacted or does not reach the meeting point within the expected time, the booking may be treated as a no-show according to the Cancellation and No-Show Policy.
Hotel Pickup Waiting Time
For hotel pickups, Hujjaj Travels does not charge any waiting amount. Guests are still encouraged to be ready on time so the ride can begin smoothly and the travel schedule is not affected.
Waiting Time During Ziyaraat
Waiting time during Ziyaraat tours is included. Pilgrims may ask the driver to stop for offering Salah inside mosques, making dua at specific places and visiting included Ziyaraat locations.
There are no separate waiting charges for standard Ziyaraat stops included in the agreed trip.
Waiting During Intercity Travel
During intercity rides such as Makkah to Madinah or Madinah to Makkah, guests may ask the driver to stop for Salah, lunch, snacks or washroom use.
These reasonable stops are included in the fare and do not create additional charges.
Flight Delays
Hujjaj Travels uses flight numbers to help track flight delays and updated arrival or departure times. Customers should still keep their phone and WhatsApp active and inform the booking team if they receive any major flight change, cancellation or airline update.
Incorrect Flight or Contact Details
Hujjaj Travels is not responsible for pickup issues caused by incorrect flight number, wrong arrival time, inactive WhatsApp number, wrong phone number, incomplete hotel details or delayed customer communication.
